Singing

While studying at the University of Cambridge I was in a chapel choir, with which I toured and released various albums.
Since then, highlights include singing in backing choirs for the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra's Film Music Gala at the Royal Albert Hall, for a Russell Watson tour with Coro Spezzato, and a Christmas Eve concert at Symphony Hall in Birmingham. I am also a member of the group Piculet and I am the lead singer in the rock band Sabre Dance.
Piculet
Piculet is a vocal consort based in London. The five members sing one to a part, which allows them to create an intimate atmosphere as well as a powerful sound.
The group’s programming is notably diverse, spanning the intricate textures of Renaissance masters to the bold harmonies and rhythms of living composers. In a recent concert at the church of Our Most Holy Redeemer, London, they performed Monteverdi's epic Sestina alongside pieces by David Lang, Caroline Shaw and Richard Rodney Bennett.
